Introduction to Mera Peak

Mera Peak (6,476m/21,247ft) stands as Nepal's highest permitted trekking peak, offering a unique opportunity for experienced trekkers and skiers to combine high-altitude mountaineering with alpine skiing. Located in the Hinku Valley of the Khumbu region, Mera Peak provides a less crowded alternative to the popular Everest Base Camp trek while delivering spectacular views of five 8,000m peaks: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kangchenjunga.
